Erin has a unique ability to figure out how people think and then uses that to teach effectively. There are many choices out there for people who want to explore ballroom dancing and my fiance and I have had first-hand experience with those teaching styles. Small group classes and one-on-one lessons with a dedicated instructor are much more effective and rewarding. My fiance and I plan to continue taking lessons from Erin even after we’re married because we want to impress our friends with our mad skills at future wedding receptions.

We took private lessons at Social Style Dance Studio for learning our first dance at our wedding and it could not have gone better! (both the studio and the first dance!)
I cannot begin to tell you how much this dance studio has helped us. Typically, I am not a dancer, In fact before this dance studio I knew nothing about dance nor have I ever really attempted it in my life before for fear of embarrassment, That in addition to me being a larger gentleman has been preventing me from really engaging in this type of activity. I have read reviews of other places, but nothing pushed me quite like the reviews I read here. It was previous reviews and the private dance lessons that won me over for this studio.
We spread out the lessons over about 4 months in which there was about 10 lessons. The Instructors help you through each step, one by one, and help to build your confidence on the dance floor. They only give you what you can do for that lesson and don’t overload you with new moves to learn and they are always giving you positive reinforcement and know when to give you constructive criticism if you need it.
They also help to take the nerves out of dancing and allow you to genuinely have fun while you’re dancing! Erin is an absolutely wonderful person who has a great personality and is extremely easy to work with. Same goes for all of her instructors.
They have won us over for life and even made mention of a future dance studio that may open closer to out location within the next couple of years! Hopefully it happens because if it does we will be one of their first customers!
I honestly don’t think we could have found a better dance studio and appreciate Erin and her team for teaching us (and more to the point me) how to dance! It really was the highlight of our wedding day!
